New Medical Facilities Community Event

On July 20, hundreds gathered to celebrate the opening of the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care and the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UCI Health – Irvine medical complex. Attendees included our UCI-OC Alliance executive director and members Fernando Niebla, Sarah Lopez and Gaddi Vasquez. The event featured guided tours, a health fair and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with remarks from UCI Health leadership.

The new facilities are part of the $1.3 billion UCI Health – Irvine medical complex, offering advanced care in oncology, digestive health, neurology, orthopedics and more.

The open house illustrated UCI Health's commitment to serving Orange County with top-tier medical care and innovation.
